Now, Dr. John Francis, at the age of 79, is traveling to Africa for a 6,000 mile on-foot journey, tracing his steps across the continent from Cape Town to Cairo. Dr. Francis has already nearly completed his trek across South Africa, and is returning this July to enter Botswana and beyond.
